We’ve got the very first functioning content up at the site, so hurry on over there and fill in the little box with your email and push the big orange button. Yeah, it is so very Web 2.0. Believe me, we’re being ironic. Really.

We spent the morning understanding some of the implications of having chosen a CMYK instead of an RGB color space for our images. That was fun.

We spent the afternoon working at a local café. Aron dropped some Mad Deployment Science and got the site deployed while I drank my warm cocoa and stared on blankly.

Now we’re bugging encouraging everyone we know and everyone they know to sign up at the site. Maybe you can do the same!

I’ve spent most of this sunny and crisp early November weekend polishing our preview page.  So, hopefully in a day or so you’ll be able to sign up for our mailing list.  Yes, you teeming hordes desperate for more information about the intriguing Spotstory will shortly have, umm, a way to give us your email address.

Seriously though, it’s exciting because it will shortly be the first finished bit of Spotstory.  To date, all of our efforts have been discussion about concept, features, design, and proof-of-concept implementation.  It feels good to actually approach a concrete milestone.

Over the next few weeks we’ll keep you updated on our progress, share our tribulations, and even tell you some actual details about the concept!  Hopefully it will be at least half as interesting to read as it is to experience.
